  • Chapin Leads Goldstream Valley to Solarize Fairbanks

UAF professor emeritus and solar energy advocate Terry Chapin is gathering interest from businesses and homeowners to install solar photovoltaic panels in the Goldstream Valley area.

Solarize Fairbanks is a volunteer-led campaign of community members and organizations that aim to make it easier and more affordable to go solar in the Fairbanks North Star Borough. To learn more about how to register your areas interest and which areas are already organizing, visit the Solarize Fairbanks website.

A Solarize Goldstream meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Ken Kunkel Community Center. If you live in or near Goldstream, please contact Terry Chapin at fschapiniii@alaska.edu or stop by the meeting.
