Interested in Applying for URSA Funding?
Are you a UAF student looking to apply for Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity funding next spring? Do you still need a project or idea? If you answered yes to either of those questions, come and talk to us at ACEP.
Apply at uaf.edu/ursa by Nov. 10 to receive up to $2,500 in funding for a research project for spring 2020. ACEP has mentored many URSA students in their spring projects.
Freshman to senior students are eligible, you must be taking at least 6 credits, and you must be degree-seeking. URSA funding can be used to pay yourself, tuition, supplies and/or travel. That’s up to you and your project.
To apply, you will need 1) An idea! 2) A faculty or graduate student mentor. 3) A written application and budget.
If you are interested but haven’t applied, talk to us. Don’t leave it until the last minute. Visit /, look at our research areas, and contact Heike Merkel to get started.
