ACEP Fellowship Explores Hydrokinetic Energy
Applications are open now for an ACEP fellowship position starting July 1, 2021. The fellowship, funded through the Alaska Sea Grant Office includes a $50,500 stipend for the 12-month assignment and other funds as required for travel and other research expenses.
The ACEP fellowship will focus on hydrokinetic energy systems, modeling their integration into microgrids, new technology development and analysis, and bathymetric mapping in support of coastal resilience electrification of Alaska ports.
Alaska residents and students completing their degrees at Alaska institutions will be given preference. If this interests you, please email Dave Partee for help accessing eSeaGrant for the application.
Applications are submitted through the Alaska Sea Grant State Fellowship Program. Stating your interest does not obligate you to apply, but start early to ensure a timely submission. The deadline is Feb. 12, 2021, 5 p.m. Alaska time. Find more information here.
